A themed photoshoot is a specialised photography session tailored to a specific concept or occasion. These sessions can celebrate various events from seasonal holidays to personal milestones, such as birthdays and gotcha days. Choosing the Right Theme
The theme sets the tone for the entire photoshoot. The theme will be changed throughout the year dependant on the time of year and the next closest public holiday. Our homepage cover will be changed to the current running theme.
Selecting Props
Props and outfits significantly enhance the overall theme. Within the studio props will always be readily available dependant on the theme of the photoshoot. Bringing along any personal items is encouraged to make your images more personal.
Locations
Studio: Personal themed photoshoot take place at a home studio which offers comfort and an enclosed safe place for your pet. Here you will have your own studio time with no distractions and full use of different backdrops and props readily available.
Charity: Throughout the year we will run a themed shoot with a local charity. Dates/Times/Locations will be advertised throughout the year and 50% of booking fees are donated to the charity we are working with on the day. These are shorter slots (usually 10-15mins) and usually located in a local pet shop. session will consist of a set theme and few props relevant to the set up. These session will also need to be booked in advance
Dog Shows: Throughout the year we also like to travel to dog events throughout northern ireland and donegal. We will bring along our pop up studio and our running theme at the time. Session will consist of a set theme and few props relevant to the set up. These shoots are first come first serve and will consist of 10 -15min slots
Editing and Post-Processing
After the photoshoot, professional editing is essential to transform your images into beautiful final products. I will correct colours, enhance lighting, and retouch any imperfections. For instance, adjustments can raise contrast and vibrancy, ensuring your images look their best whether they are printed or shared online.
You will receive an online gallery to view your images before making the hard decision on the images you choose
